About the ProgramFP101 introduces students to practical personal finance topics, including budgeting, debt, savings, investing, and tax basics.
Courses are educational only and do not provide financial advice or recommend financial products.
Things to Know
-
FP101 is designed for rising high school seniors and traditional college-age students who want to build confidence with money decisions before entering adulthood.
Students under age 18 must have authorization from a parent or guardian to participate.
-
Students should expect short lessons, guided activities, discussion-based reflections, and occasional live virtual sessions.
The program is designed to be challenging yet supportive, with an emphasis on participation, consistency, and learning—not perfection.
-
Due to program capacity, submitting an application does not always guarantee acceptance. Applications help us learn more about student interest, readiness, and fit for the program.
Take the First Step
Please complete the application. Responses should be thoughtful yet brief. Student reflection questions may be answered in a few sentences unless otherwise noted.
